Graph database shows Biden outspends Trump on social media

Biden outspent Trump by about 7-to-1 on Facebook and Instagram ads, but attack ads from groups associated with either candidate focused more on Biden (47%) than Trump (37%).
Research project led by Professor Stromer-Galley at Syracuse University's IDJC analyzed $15.3 million spent by 1,802 groups with 24,000 ad buys for Trump or Biden.
The project, with funding and technical support from Neo4j, switched to using Neo4j's graph database from MongoDB to analyze and process data from Facebook and Instagram ads.
