The Washington Wizards will start interviewing candidates for their head coaching vacancy later this week or next week, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic. It's interesting that the Wizards would officially start this process about a month after their regular season ended.
The only other NBA teams with vacancies are the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns. The Charlotte Hornets filled their vacancy by hiring Boston Celtics assistant coach Charles Lee.
