Brandon Nimmo broke a 3-3 tie with a solo homer in the top of the seventh to lift the Mets to a 4-3 win over the Cardinals, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Francisco Lindor's walk and DJ Stewart's RBI double helped the Mets take an early lead, while Starling Marte and Lindor contributed to further runs in the game.
Sean Manaea had a strong start but faced trouble in the sixth, while Jake Diekman, Adam Ottavino, and Edwin Diaz closed out the game with solid pitching performances.
