Boeing's Starliner Is Set for Its First Crewed Spaceflight

Boeing's Starliner capsule will join a very exclusive club today (May 6), if all goes according to plan, as it transports two NASA astronauts on its first-ever crewed test flight.
NASA Chief Bill Nelson highlighted the significance of this event, noting that historical crewed debuts to Earth orbit have occurred only five times before, including with Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, space shuttle, and Dragon spacecraft.
