A Missouri man charged with strangling his wife in a hospital explained that he could not care for her or pay her medical bills, leading to her death.
The victim was initially seen alert and oriented in the hospital but later found unresponsive with suspicious injuries, including redness on her neck and a wound in the middle of her throat.
