The United States and Mexico have announced a joint bid to host the Women's World Cup in 2027, following their successful joint bid for the Men's World Cup in 2026.

FIFA has upheld the three-year ban on former Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) chief Luis Rubiales for his behavior after the Women's World Cup final.
Rubiales kissed a player on the lips, grabbed his crotch, and threw another player over his shoulder, resulting in the ban.
