The Los Angeles Angels signed veteran outfielder Kevin Pillar to a one-year contract following news of Mike Trout's knee surgery for a torn meniscus.
Pillar joined the Angels after being designated for assignment by the White Sox and electing free agency. He had a .160/.290/.360 slash line in 17 games for the White Sox in 2024.
