Several Democrats in the House of Representatives may not vote to save Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson if a second motion to vacate is introduced, citing his recent defense of Donald Trump during the former president's criminal court case in New York City.
Because of Johnson's public attacks on the judiciary in defense of Trump, some Democrats are now hesitant about backing him in a potential future motion to vacate.
