A new press release describes the movie as a pseudo narrative-concert film that 'fully immerses viewers in the technicolor melodrama of the vaunted live ritual' that is Ghost.
Tobias Forge revealed the origin of the film: 'Over a decade ago when Ghost got signed to Loma Vista, Tom Whalley asked what the story of the band was... This film is the fruit of that conversation.'
Co-director Alex Ross Perry expressed excitement: 'Collaborating with Tobias to expand the saga of Ghost into a feature film has been a wicked delight... The ultimate goal was to make a one-of-a-kind feast.'
