The Kings may be looking to offload Mitch Marner to shake up the roster, and sending him to the Western Conference makes the most sense.
With Los Angeles projected to have less than $7 million after re-signing Quinton Byfield, Jordan Spence, and remaining depth players, from there, they will have to decide how they want to spend their remaining money, whether it be on goaltending, depth, or adding a star like Marner.
