Powerful billboards appear across the UK to mark inaugural Trans+ History Week
Briefly

Trans+ History Week will provide the British public with a millennia-old history of trans+ people and gender-diverse communities through educational resources and the spotlighting of global trans+ history.
The event will officially declare 6 May as Trans+ History Day, coinciding with the 91st anniversary of the Nazi raid on the first trans clinic, aiming to raise awareness on trans history and experiences.
The billboards with the words 'ALWAYS BEEN HERE. ALWAYS WILL BE' will be displayed across major UK cities, featuring QR codes for further information, enhancing visibility and engagement.
Trans+ History Week founder, Marty Davies, highlights the importance of allowing Trans+ individuals to tell their own stories, as the event aims to amplify their voices and experiences.
