Liverpool will be hopeful of getting back to winning ways this Sunday when they host Tottenham in the Premier League. The Reds' disastrous end to the campaign saw them stumble to a 2-2 draw with West Ham United last time out, a result which followed up a humiliating 2-0 defeat to Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Sunday's encounter will be Jurgen Klopp's penultimate home game in charge of the Reds and he will want his incredible reign to end on a high, even if it means nothing in terms of silverware. While he does have a few injuries to contend with, including the influential Diogo Jota, the German should be able to field a strong lineup for the weekend battle.
GK: Alisson - Liverpool's recent dip in form hasn't impacted the Brazilian, who has remained a consistent presence in between the sticks. CB: Virgil van Dijk - Even the imperious skipper has not been at his best recently, but his established quality suggests it is merely a blip for the 32-year-old. His leadership and experience make him essential for this Liverpool side, though he is a doubt to play on Sunday having missed team training in the week.
