Arne Slot plans to appoint Sipke Hulshoff, his assistant at Feyenoord, to his backroom staff at Liverpool when he takes over from Jürgen Klopp. The move follows a compensation agreement with Feyenoord for the 45-year-old, with an official announcement expected after Klopp's departure.
Slot hinted at the confirmation of his Liverpool move within days and has already begun assembling his coaching team at Anfield. Hulshoff, 49, has been working with Slot at Feyenoord since 2022 and previously served as a Netherlands assistant alongside Ronald Koeman.
Slot and Hulshoff have a history of working together, having been joint-coaches at Cambuur at the beginning of Slot's coaching career. With Klopp's impending exit leading to a reshuffle, Liverpool faces the task of rebuilding their coaching staff this summer.
