This isn't a case of "same as it ever was," but it's close. Buffalo has now won eight consecutive against Miami at Highmark Stadium. The Bills dominated this game, and the Dolphins were coming off a 50-point win over Denver, and had a healthy Tua Tagovailoa.
This Dolphins defense has now been concerning for two of the first four games. Against the Chargers, the Miami offense made up for it, but against a complete team like Buffalo that does it on both sides of the ball, the offense couldn't keep up. Miami will get another chance against the Bills in the regular-season finale, but back to the drawing board - and now maybe without left tackle Terron Armstead.
It was a domination, made worse by the injury to Terron Armstead, but the Dolphins fans can take solace in the fact that the Bills' remaining schedule is much more difficult than the Dolphins', and Buffalo also sustained key injuries Sunday. The one Miami negative that persists is the ability of opponents not known as run-game juggernauts to attack the interior of the defense.
