Manhattan prosecutors vowed to retry Harvey Weinstein for rape and sexual assault after New York's highest court threw out his conviction. The new trial is tentatively scheduled for fall.
Assistant DA Nicole Blumberg stated that one of the women Weinstein was convicted of attacking, Jessica Mann, was present in court to show she's not backing down and to assert the truth.
Weinstein's lawyer Arthur Aidala mentioned Weinstein's health issues but emphasized his sharpness and intelligence: 'He's as smart as he ever was' and 'he's read hundreds of books' in prison.
