Islanders Gameday News: Hab a nice evening?
Briefly

There were no scores relevant to the Islanders' playoff chase last night, so they enter tonight's action against the Canadiens in the same position as they left the win over the Rangers: third place in the Metro, with a decent chance of hanging on to that or at least a wild card spot.
The path to the playoffs is there, but it's daunting: The Isles are 2-7-2 against their remaining opponents. Cal Clutterbuck rallied the troops during a TV timeout as the Isles withstood the Rangers' third-period push.
The Canadiens still suck but they are trusting in the process, as one does.
