6-figure job to work remote? Those opportunities are shrinking
Briefly

The number of high-paying remote jobs commanding a salary of $100,000 or more dropped 33% across the first quarter of the year compared to the final three months of 2023, with more companies now demanding that workers with higher salaries report to the office.
While those remote roles are sinking, there is a silver lining for workers and job candidates: high-paying roles are still rising overall in 2024. They're just more likely to require in-office work.
It's just another sign of employers gaining leverage in a softening job market.
