Stalled out
Briefly

Whiplash, jerked around, starting-and-stopping with no flow, a grinding transmission disconnected from its engine that's all sound and no fury-this is the feeling watching the San Francisco Giants right now.
Simply put: the offense can't get out of first gear. Wednesday's 6-for-8 with runners-in-scoring-position outburst produced forward momentum, but it was quickly lost in the logistics of a travel day and off-day.
In the opener against the Tampa Bay Rays, the bats continued to get opportunities, receiving gifts galore in the form of 6 walks and errant throws, but there was no shift to a higher RPM (Run-Producing, Man).
