The founder of Famous Dave's, "Famous Dave" Anderson, is coming to San Jose to find a local pit team for his Nationwide All-Star BBQ Championship Series.
The contest will take place at Famous Dave's at The Plant shopping center and is free and open to the public. The first 200 attendees will get to sample the barbecue for free.
The winning team will receive a $5,000 prize and two "golden tickets" to the nationals in Dallas, in partnership with the World Food Championships.
