Apple Vision Pro 2 Won't Launch Until At Least Late 2026
Briefly

Apple's latest Vision Pro road map doesn't currently call for a second-generation model until the end of 2026, though the company is trying to figure out a way to bring a cheaper version to market before then. Apple is still flummoxed by how exactly to bring down the cost, I'm told.
Two and a half years is a long time to wait for a product update. Keep in mind that iPhones are updated annually and even most iPads rarely go 18 months without an update.
Apple wants to release several visionOS software updates before launching Apple Vision Pro 2, to gauge user preferences and enhance current product abilities.
If Apple sticks to the reported timeline, we can expect visionOS 3 and visionOS 4 to be released before the launch of the Apple Vision Pro 2 in late 2026.
