Briefly

The vase shape was determined by a differential growth algorithm, while a 3D printer manufactured the vase. Designer Tim Zarki orchestrated the project but machines executed it, showcasing AI-based creativity and human detachment from creative roles.
Differential growth, mimicking natural patterns, created vases with unique undulating designs. Algorithm generated new shapes each time, resulting in endless possibilities, unlike traditionally symmetrical pottery designs.
